A Sweet Lenoir City Family Session
When I arrived at the Webb family’s home for their annual photos, I was immediately greeted by their youngest, David. He ran right up to my car and started chatting away. He shared everything from who came to his birthday party to which dinosaur is his favorite. Within minutes he had dubbed me the “picture lady,” and later proudly declared himself a “country boy.” It was the cutest welcome and set the tone for such a joyful afternoon.
This is my third time photographing the Webb family, and each year just gets better. Last year, David had just turned two, and things looked a little different. Lots of movement, toddler energy, and sweet little expressions. This year though, there was such a new level of ease. The kids have always been cooperative and photogenic, but this time, I could tell they remembered me and already knew what to do.
What I love most about the Webb family is how tenderhearted and kind they are. I’m sure there are sibling disagreements from time to time, but from what I’ve seen, their interactions are full of gentleness. Honestly, I imagine their “arguments” sound more like bullet-point reasoning sessions than anything resembling yelling or chaos. That kindness shines through in every hug, smile, and laugh they share, and it’s such a joy to capture.
Each year, we photograph at their home, and it’s become such a special tradition. I always find new little nooks on their property to use while also returning to favorite spots we revisit year after year. It’s amazing how the same place can tell a slightly different story as the kids grow and change.
I’m so grateful the Webb family continues to invite me into their lives and their home. This year’s gallery is one of my favorites yet, filled with warmth, laughter, and the sweetest sibling love.
