It didn’t take long after launching Amanda May Photos in 2010 for me to fall in love with photographing weddings. I quickly realized that even though I love the formalities of the day, what really moves me are those small, intimate moments that unfold without warning. Moments like when your mom gets done zipping your dress and walks around to see her baby girl as a bride. Her eyes puddle with happy tears, and there’s a smile on her face that only shows when her heart is melting.
Or like the moment right after the ceremony when you find yourself wrapped up in your new husband’s arms. He’s holding you tight, and you can hear your bridal party shouting with excitement as they round the corner to join you. Or the moment you're sharing your very own father daughter dance, and you see the tear trickle down your dad’s cheek. You bury your head in his chest, and thank him for being so supportive. There is so much substance to be captured on your wedding day, and it would be an honor to be the one to do it for you.

The engagement session is for me to learn more about you and for you to learn more about being in front of my camera. It’s fun and relaxing, and most couples make a date night out of it with a celebratory dinner afterwards.

4-6 weeks before the wedding, you will have the option to add on a bridal or boudoir session. What better excuse to get to wear your wedding dress more than once?

A few months before the wedding, I’ll check in with you about building your timeline and family combo list as well as if there are any special heirlooms or traditions I should know about it!

We’ve prepped and planned, and now, your only job is to sit back and enjoy every second of this day. It is one you will reminisce about for the rest of your life!
The wedding day is finally here! Time to tie the knot!

4-6 weeks after the wedding day, we’ll do a grand reveal of all the photos at your preview party. You will have the option to add on an heirloom album or other prints as well as relive your day with your closest family & friends!

Your gallery will stay live for T-E-N years! You may view, share, or purchase the photos directly through your gallery in that time. You will also receive a print release and a digital download through your gallery.
