Downtown Engagement Session || Madison & Tyler

A Downtown Interactive Engagement Session with so much cuteness!

I first met Madison and Tyler a couple of years ago at a wedding where Madison was a bridesmaid. Tyler was just her boyfriend back then, but I remember so clearly thinking, Wow, these two are something special. They stayed on the dance floor the entire night laughing, twirling, singing every lyric. Their energy was magnetic.

Not long after that wedding, I followed Madison on Instagram, and suddenly, I was crying over a proposal video in Paris. Yes, Paris. Tyler flew across the world to surprise her on a girls’ trip and proposed in the rain, in France, with photographers and videographers hiding around the corner. Madison had absolutely no idea he would be there, much less waiting with a ring. I’ll never forget watching that video and feeling my heart strings being pulled!

Fast forward to their Downtown interactive engagement session, and I finally got to experience these two in their own season. Not as a bridesmaid and her boyfriend, but as a couple planning their own December 13th wedding at The Press Room. And let me tell you, they truly are a power couple. The way they communicate, support one another, and simply look at each other says everything. They’re present. They’re connected. And they’re so, so fun.

Madison knew she wanted an interactive session, and they showed up ready to play. Interactive engagement sessions are incredibly popular right now. Part posing, part prompting, but mostly about how the couple naturally responds to one another. Some people do my prompt and then stop. But what really makes an interactive engagement session successful is when they keep the giggles, the flirty nudges, and the squeezes going. Madison and Tyler nailed it. Their session was full of movement, laughter, and the kind of chemistry you can’t fake.

I adored every minute of photographing them, and now, I’m counting down the days—just over two weeks!—until their beautiful winter wedding at The Press Room. I already know it’s going to be unforgettable. Looking back at their downtown interactive engagement session, I’m reminded how much joy and connection they bring into every moment together.
