Emily and Luke Sirknen associate wedding at Marblegate Farm was, quite literally, the most beautiful fall day you could imagine. The kind where the air feels crisp, the colors are rich and golden, and every moment seems wrapped in warm light. Associate photographer Brittany Conner, alongside second shooter Emily Elizabeth, captured every bit of that magic with such tenderness and intention.
The ceremony itself felt almost heavenly. The way the light filtered through the trees—soft, glowing, almost indescribable—made their vows feel even more sacred. Speaking of vows, Emily and Luke wrote personal ones that centered so deeply on putting Jesus first in their marriage. Hearing them speak those promises with steadiness and emotion set such a meaningful tone for the entire day.
Throughout the reception, the toasts all had a similar theme: Luke is one of the hardest-working people anyone knows, and he loves Emily with his whole heart. And just as sweetly, everyone talked about how much Emily adores him right back. Their relationship is one of those where the admiration is mutual, obvious, and overflowing.
A fun detail from the day: second shooter Emily’s husband is also named Luke—so we had two “Emily & Lukes”. A little wedding-day coincidence that kept us all laughing.
But one of the most emotional moments came during Emily’s first look with her grandfather. He couldn’t stop telling her how beautiful she looked, and when she complimented him, he grinned and said, “Yeah, I don’t look so bad myself.” A moment equal parts tender and hilarious.
And let’s talk about the cakes. They were made by Luke’s sister, who is unbelievably talented. Not only were they gorgeous, but they also included the sweetest touch—adding a little nod to their dog behind the cake with a little icing on his nose. And yes… we can confirm the cake tasted just as good as it looked.
Emily and Luke’s Marblegate Farm wedding was heartfelt, joyful, faith-centered, and filled with the kind of warmth that only a perfect fall day can bring. A true honor for our associate team to capture.
