Tented Backyard Wedding at Anatole Neighborhood in Cleveland, TN

Lauren & Will’s Anatole Neighborhood wedding was the kind of day that fills your creative cup to the brim. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood at Lauren’s parents’ house, this backyard wedding was anything but ordinary. Every corner was carefully and beautifully thought out. Florals spilled over tables. Cozy vignettes of lounge seating, and warm, welcoming touches that made it feel both elegant and deeply personal.

I first met Lauren as a bridesmaid in her matron of honor’s wedding. Fun fact, the bridesmaids at her wedding were nearly identical to this crew! I absolutely loved them then, and I love them now. They are the kind of friends that lift you up in the biggest way: hilarious, supportive, and always ready to dance (or cry happy tears) alongside you. They are Lauren’s people, through and through. Her biggest cheerleaders and constant source of laughter.

One thing I heard multiple times was how Lauren and Will are “ride or die” people. Loyal. Steady. The ones you call when life gets hard. Or when you just want to celebrate something big. Honestly, after spending the day with them, I couldn’t agree more. They’re not just that couple you root for. Undoubtedly, they’re the kind of people who make everyone around them feel seen, valued, and loved.

This wedding was the middle event of a triple-header weekend for me, but you’d never know it by the energy in the air. As soon as I arrived, I was re-energized by the beauty, the people, and the pure joy radiating from every detail. Lauren’s smile, Will’s calm and steady presence, and their incredibly tight-knit group of friends also made this day truly special.

Every single detail at this wedding was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The florals were some of my absolute favorites—bursting with color and full of lush, oversized blooms that made every bouquet and tablescape look like fine art. The tents were incredibly beautiful, with thoughtful design that made the entire evening feel like a garden party pulled straight from a dream. The vibe was elevated yet effortlessly inviting.

One of the most stunning areas of the day was the cocktail hour space around the Burgess family pool, lovingly referred to as “the Oasis.” This spot pulled triple duty—not only was it a chic space for guests to sip and mingle during cocktail hour, but it also served as the backdrop for a flatlay, the bridal party portraits, and bride and groom photos. It was a bit steamy, but honestly, totally worth it. That light, that scenery—it all came together like a styled shoot you’d see in a magazine.

And one of the most unique touches was a live watercolor painter who created individual 5×7(ish) portraits of each guest. I’ve seen live painters do full canvas portraits of the bride and groom before, but this twist was so thoughtful and personal. Guests got to take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art as their thank-you gift—and you could see the joy on their faces as they watched themselves come to life on paper. It was such a cool and meaningful experience that fit Lauren and Will’s generous, intentional personalities perfectly.

Their Anatole Neighborhood wedding was a perfect reflection of them—warm, vibrant, and filled with meaningful moments. A day I’ll never forget, not just because of how beautiful it was, but because of the incredible people at the heart of it.
