Newborn Session at Highlight Studio

One of the joys of having an infant is getting to hold and cuddle them all the time. On the other hand, one of the hard parts of having an infant is having to hold them all the time. Even if you have other children or are trying to eat dinner or do the dishes or exercise. Sometimes, you need to be able to put them down. Well, in Wesley’s case, he more often wants to be put down and left alone than be held all the time. I’m not going to lie, I almost never see this. The infant always wants to be held, and usually when we set them down, they start screaming. In this case, however, we filled his tummy with some yummy milk, and he was perfectly content resting on the ground both on his back and on his tummy. He cooed for us and even gave a smile or two. It was such a pleasure getting to do a newborn session at Highlight Studio with little Wesley. You can see in Becca and Adam’s faces how much they adore this little guy. Their smiles are overflowing with joy. It warms my heart looking at their photos so much!
