In Home Newborn Session with a Dachshund

Before Olivia was born, Sarah and Justin had a fur baby, and her name is Sally. She is a little dachshund and has become a big sister to sweet Olivia. We joked because a couple nights after they were home, there was a long crying stent. Before that, Sally didn’t know what to think about Olivia. She was very suspicious. After that, however, Sally realized Olivia is in fact not being returned and is there to stay. So, she might as well love her. Their relationship totally changed, but it wasn’t until their in-home newborn session that we saw Sally’s protective side truly come out. Sally stayed right near Sarah and Justin anytime they were holding Olivia. Previously known as the dog who never cooperated for photos, she wanted to be in every single one at their in-home newborn session. Even when she wasn’t supposed to be, we would find her sneaking in at their feet under Sarah’s dress. It was really stinking adorable. Some of my favorites in their gallery are where Sally is just being her sweet self and loving on her family. I think Olivia is going to have it made when she gets a little older and has a best friend named Sally.

P.S. I am completely and totally obsessed with Olivia’s nursery. If you have no other reason to scroll through the photos, it should be to check out her nursery because it’s GORGEOUS!
