4 Points Farm Wedding

Victoria and Gage came all the way from Alaska to have their 4 Points Farm wedding right outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We knew we were meant to work together as soon as they inquired. See, I was on vacation when they inquired 11 months ago. The response they got from my assistant was that I was in Alaska on vacation and would be back in 7 days to reach out and schedule a call. They responded back to that email and said, “Ummm….where in Alaska are you? We actually live in Alaska!” At the time, we were going from southern Alaska up to Denali National Park but were planning on ending in Anchorage where we would fly out on day 7. Just so happened they lived in Anchorage because they are both in the Air Force there. I had no idea what their schedule would be like, but I took the chance to see if they maybe would like to meet up in Anchorage on our last day. While we were on this vacation, we rented an RV. Since our flight was at 5:30am on our very last day, we had to be back at the RV park the day before by 5pm to check our RV back in. The RV place shut their gate at 6pm so we had no car for the rest of the evening. There was a coffee shop next door, and it just so happened our schedules lined up for us to meet at the coffee shop in person to chat more about their wedding before we flew home the next morning.

Like, what??

How in the world??

It was meant to be.

Unrelated side note, the week before their wedding, my husband said, “I’m so surprised you booked a wedding today since it’s the biggest football day of the season here.” i.e. TN vs. FL. I said, “Oh, this is the couple from Alaska. Their families aren’t from here either.” He laughed and said, “I should have known.”

I had so much fun with Victoria and Gage for their wedding. With a rainy forecast, it ended up being perfectly beautiful with a GORGEOUS sunset. Our mountains don’t even compare to the mountains in Alaska, but I’m so honored they chose our national park to celebrate their wedding!
