Winter Maple Grove Engagement

Savannah and Will might be one of the cutest couples I’ve ever shot. You are going to see so many laughing photos in their blog post because that is just who they are. Funny, giggly, hilarious people that keep each other laughing. There were also multiple occasions they had me laughing so hard my eyes started watering. Something about liver mush and their cable man and Will’s deep gruffly impersonation, and Savannah and I were rolling. The rest of the session, all I had to say was, “In your cable man voice,” and we would all bust out laughing.

Also, can we just talk about Maple Grove in the winter? I can’t say we are usually this cold and wintry looking this time of year, but this year, the color peaked early, the leaves fell fast, and it is straight freezing with dead trees. At Maple Grove, however, there are so many plants that are green year-round and provide just as beautiful winter photos as spring photos! I’m so thankful for them and the thoughtfulness they put into their landscaping! I just love this winter Maple Grove engagement session!

Next month, we are heading to Asheville, NC to photograph Will and Savannah’s wedding day at a castle. We have planned a whole family trip out of it and are seeing the Christmas setup at Biltmore, the gingerbread house competition at Grove Park Inn, and are hopefully finding a train ride to take the kids on before we head back home!
