A Wedding at The Magnolia Venue

Jessica and Arik planned a destination wedding at The Magnolia Venue. Arik is in the military, and there was no way to meet them before their wedding day. So, here I am, ready to hit the ground running when I arrive onsite at The Magnolia Venue. When I saw Jessica, she didn’t even have her hair done yet, and I was literally stopped by how pretty she is. Hello, super model. Then, I walked out during the “groom getting ready” photos, saw Arik, and thought, “geez…two models?” All joking aside, they are a beautiful couple, and they are also SO kind. I caught myself apologizing multiple times for making them go hiking to get to a good mountain view or telling them they were done then changing my mind and doing one more photo. As I said sorry, Jessica would look at me and say, “Do not apologize! We want amazing photos with mountain views and epic poses. We hired YOU for this, and we will do whatever we need to make it happen!” I heard this exchange happen throughout the evening when various people would apologize to her about something. I love this about her. I love so much that she doesn’t want people to feel guilty or apologetic. This is such a great quality, and as I drove the hour back to my house after their wedding day, I thought through ways I can implement this mindset in my own life! Thank you, Jessica! Not only for hiring me for your GORGEOUS wedding at The Magnolia Venue but also for making me become more aware of helping people feel less guilty and more confident in their requests/decisions!
