Cherokee Country Club Wedding || Camille & Alex

A Glamorous Cherokee Country Club Wedding

You know what’s CRAZY about Camille and Alex that I learned during the speeches Friday night at the rehearsal and Saturday night at the wedding? Camille and Alex were both at The University of Tennessee at the same time. They were both involved in the football program at The University of Tennessee. But they had never met. Alex Jones then graduated and went on to coach football at Arkansas State with his dad, Butch Jones, where they landed right around the same place where Camille’s parents own a cabin and have owned this cabin since she was in high school. Still not knowing one another at this point. If I’m remembering correctly, Camille was working a seasonal job at MS McClellan with one of her friends. They were both single and joked about hoping to meet a guy working at a suit store. One day, Alex was in Knoxville over Christmas break and popped into MS McClellan to get a pair of slacks hemmed. He was with his mom Barb Jones who played matchmaker and introduced the two of them. They hit it off right away, and after Alex had to leave at the end of Christmas break, he flew back to Knoxville on a special trip just to take Camille out on a real first date. The rest is history. It’s like a Hallmark movie, you guys.

Their Cherokee Country Club wedding was like a Hallmark wedding. I posted some videos to my story on the wedding day, and I had people message me telling me it looked like a styled shoot instead of a real wedding day. I couldn’t agree more. A styled shoot is where vendors get together to stage a wedding showcasing their best work. The hope is that they use the photos from the styled shoot to advertise with, and it encourages real couples to do some of these things on their own real wedding day. Well, Camille was the real bride who took the styled shoot idea and brought it to life. It was absolutely stunning. She was stunning. Everyone was stunning. The joy was overflowing and radiating throughout every piece of the day.

I could not be happier for Camille and Alex, and I am over the moon excited to share these Cherokee Country Club wedding photos with you!
