A Joyful Celebration at Meadow Mint Farm
Megan and Justin’s wedding at Meadow Mint Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I shared about my friendship with Megan in their engagement session blog post. So, I want to focus on the sheer beauty and significance of this day. Megan’s wedding band paired so beautifully with her engagement ring and is a cherished heirloom passed down from her grandmother to her mother and now to her. It symbolizes the deep-rooted love woven through generations. One of the most touching moments of the day was capturing Megan and her bridesmaids in prayer before the ceremony. From inside the stunning bridal suite overlooking the ceremony site, they prayed together as I stood below, freezing that irreplaceable moment in time. While the composition may not be my most artistic shot, the emotion within it is immeasurable.
I couldn’t talk about this day without mentioning the Honey Parade though. It was a procession of all the little ones in Megan and Justin’s life. From nieces and nephews to their best friends’ children, who lovingly call Megan “Honey.” This adorable group of flower girls and ring bearers marched down the aisle just before Megan’s grand entrance with some even dozing off mid-procession! It was a sweet and sentimental way to include the children who mean so much to them.
The entire day was filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of familiar faces, as I knew so many guests through my friendship with Megan. Now, these two are off to Hawaii, where Megan will introduce Justin to his first big adventure—a journey I have no doubt he’ll fall in love with.
Meadow Mint Farm provided the perfect backdrop for this incredible day, and I am beyond grateful to have been part of it. Congratulations, Megan and Justin!
