Jackson Terminal Proposal || Dylana & Jarred

Her Very Own Jackson Terminal Proposal

Right off the bat, I need to tell you something vital to the rest of this post. This is my SISTER-IN-LAW!!! She feels more just like my sister though, and I got to be a part of this entire process! Jarred and Dylana have been together for a couple years now. Recently, the family started wondering if we were getting close to proposal time. The time finally came that Jarred reached out to Devin (another sister-in-law) to help him plan it. They both live in Somerset, but he wanted to propose in Knoxville. Not only do they both love the area, but he had a great opportunity present itself where Dylana would already be dressed up, have her lashes and nails done, and be completely unsuspecting for a trip they were taking down to Pigeon Forge for Rod Run. So, Devin and I started planning and scheming and came up with the ultimate plan. Devin was going to invite Dylana and Jarred to dinner with us at Kefi on their way to Rod Run. Since I had a giftcard to Kefi and was coming straight from a shoot (reason I had my camera with me), I planned to meet them on the deck of Jackson Terminal with Dustin. Dev and I reenacted the whole thing and sent a video to Jarred so he would know when and where to start asking the question. That way Dev and I knew when to have our cameras out and ready. Jarred pulled off this Jackson Terminal proposal so effortlessly. I mean, it literally went off without a hitch. Dylana was completely and totally taken off guard and was straight trembling with excitement for the next hour. Thinking that was the complete surprise, you have to see the look on her face when she pulled up to our house and saw ALL the people there to support her. Her parents drove down as well as Jarred’s mom from Somerset, KY. Her other sister, Danay, drove ALL THE WAY FROM OKLAHOMA with her three young kiddos to be here. One of her best friends from highschool drove up (and all the way back) from Atlanta. The girl had a CREW to welcome her when we got home, and it brought happy tears to her eyes. The whole evening went off without a hitch. Throughout this whole plan, we made most everything occur outside, and during the days leading up to it, it called for rain the whole evening. Thank you, Jesus, for showing us amazing grace with the most perfect weather to celebrate sweet Dylana and Jarred!
