Micro Wedding at Above the Mist by an AMP Associate
When Alysa originally inquired with me, I didn’t have her date open so I gave her the option to hire one of my associate photographers, Cyd. I met Cyd last year when she moved to Tennessee from New Zealand. We immediately hit it off over our love for Jesus and quickly became friends. At the end of her first wedding with me, she said, “This is the first time I’ve seen another photographer match my energy level at a wedding.” I immediately knew God had crossed my path with yet another amazing female in this industry. Cyd has stepped in multiple times since our friendship began and is associate shooting and second shooting quiet a lot throughout 2024. Going through Alysa and Dane’s photos from their micro wedding at Above the Mist, I was beyond pleased with the images Cyd delivered. There were so many beautiful emotions happening on this day, and I can feel them spewing out of every image. Whether it was happy tears during the vows or big cheesing grins from the kiddos. It is palpable. The joy that comes through on a wedding day is a different kind of joy. I would even say it’s even different than the type of joy you feel when you have a child. It is a once in a lifetime feeling, and I am beyond honored to get to preserve it in photographs for each one of my clients. Today, I’m feeling extra thankful to Cyd that she helped preserve it in photographs for Alysa and Dane on their wedding day in such an incredible way!
