A Christmas Press Room Wedding Filled with Deep Love

Some couples leave such an immediate and lasting impression that you just know their story is going to be special. Madison and Tyler are absolutely one of those couples.

I first met Madison and Tyler while photographing a wedding in Chattanooga. Madison was a bridesmaid, and Tyler was her date. From the moment I saw them together, I knew without a doubt they were made for one another. It was in the way they looked at each other, the way they naturally gravitated together, and even the way they danced on the dance floor that night. They were completely smitten, and their connection was undeniable.

Not long after that wedding, I saw the video of Tyler proposing to Madison in Paris, France. Yes, Paris. It was magical in every sense of the word. So, when Madison reached out asking if I would photograph their wedding, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I love this couple deeply, and it has been such an honor to walk alongside them during this season of life.

Their Christmas Press Room Wedding was everything meaningful, emotional, and beautiful. Despite the hard things they’ve walked through in the last year, Madison and Tyler have chosen joy, gratitude, and (most of all) people. Their love for others is evident in every part of their story.

Madison chose to do a first look not only with Tyler, but with every single bridesmaid, each sibling, her sister-in-law, her stepmom, her mother-in-law, her dad, her grandmother, and then finally Tyler. Each moment was intentional and deeply personal. The reactions each of these people had to seeing Madison for the first time made me emotional behind my camera. Each of them so genuinely happy to celebrate her and Tyler’s marriage!

Tyler’s heart for people was just as evident in the way he interacted with his groomsmen and in the words spoken about him during the rehearsal dinner and toasts. These two prioritize relationships, and it shows.

One of the most powerful moments of the day was Madison’s bouquet dedication to her mom. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. After her speech, I looked at my second shooter and said I could only hope to have the kind of relationship with my daughters that Madison has with her mom. It was that impactful.

If something feels different about this gallery, it’s because it is. It’s the way they love each other and the way they love their people. It’s the raw, beautiful emotion they wear so openly.

I really, really, really love this couple, and I could not be more excited to share their wedding photos with you.
