Castleton Wedding

This couple got the full monty when it came to their photography package. They are from Michigan and had to postpone their wedding due to COVID. If there was one thing Christina knew for sure though, it’s that she LOVES pictures and wanted a lot of them. Not only did I get to serve this couple with engagement photos, but I also did a bridal session, rehearsal dinner, and another little bonus session in there. She got three shooters for the wedding day and had me on site from 9:30am to midnight. Since we did the bridal session and rehearsal dinner so close to the wedding day, I threw those sessions in with this blog post. When my assistant finished culling, she texted me with how many photos she had kept from the day with a question mark saying, “Is this right?!?!” 😂 I texted her back laughing, and said, “Yup…Christina loves photos.”

At multiple points throughout the day, I asked Christina if she wanted to go back out. We had gotten a TON of great stuff at each of those points, and I didn’t want her to feel like she was missing time with her friends and family so I asked. Each time expecting her to say, “No, I think we’re good. We’ve gotten so much already.” Instead, she responded with a hearty, “Yes! We’re ready!” I would look to Kevin with a smile on my face, and each time, he was equally as enthusiastic. I thought for sure he would be over the picture taking by the time we got to sunset photos, but nope. He joyfully hopped on the back of the golf cart as we rode across the property to get some of the most classic shots of their day.

There’s no denying this couple is loved and is absolutely beautiful. They have some of the most incredible friends, and since they all came down from Michigan a few days before the wedding, they rolled into the getting ready suite that morning with some of the best stories. I know Christina and Kevin had the best day, and even though they had to postpone, it was worth it to have all their favorite people surrounding them in good old East Tennessee.
