When Emily reached out to me as an inquiring bride, I knew immediately I would love to shoot her wedding. She is so good at being decisive and having been in the wedding industry doing hair since she was 18 years old, she knew exactly what she wanted. They booked with me several months ago and I did their Arrington Vineyard engagement session a couple weeks ago. At the end she gave me the run down of the wedding day… telling me her timeline and exactly how she wanted things to flow. I laughed and said, “Well, I’ll just stay in Nashville tonight, and we can do this thing tomorrow!” Obviously kidding. Seriously though, the whole wedding is planned, and we are still 7 months away. They could literally do it tomorrow if they wanted to.
Also, this couple is Emily and Joe. One of my assistants who helps AMP behind the scenes is Emmalee (pronounced Emily), and her husband is Joe. Another sign I am meant to shoot Emily and Joe’s wedding.
I love how Emily and Joe’s Arrington Vineyards engagement session played out. We had the best of all the worlds. Perfect temperatures, sun, clouds, and one epic sunset. We had almost the entire Arrington Vineyards property to ourselves since it was a Monday. My favorite spot in their engagement session was on top of the hill looking out towards Arrington Vineyards and the mountains. It was absolutely stunning. While we were up there, the sun came through some yellow leaves, and we had some clouds to help us shoot along the skyline. I couldn’t be more excited to be sharing their engagement photos with you!
