A Downtown Knoxville and Ayres Hall Engagement Session

I first met Lauren at a wedding I photographed last year for Maiti & Blake. She was a bridesmaid and during the getting ready portion of that day, I remember sitting off to the side doing detail photos and just cracking up over the conversation happening between the girls. At one point, I laughed hard enough that I had to say something because it was obvious I was eavesdropping. I immediately hit it off with these ladies. They were hilarious and so friendly. Later, Lauren stopped me at the reception and said, “You have to do my wedding when I get engaged.” And here we are! Getting her and Will in front of my camera for their UT campus engagement session was so much fun. We shared stories and memories and popped champagne together. We even ran into Maiti in Market Square and got to catch up for a second. As we walked around Downtown Knoxville, Lauren told me all the places she had been and gave me all the recommendations for good food. Dustin and I ALWAYS choose downtown when we have a date night. We don’t have enough date nights to keep up with the ever changing food scene though. So, I am happy to report we celebrated our 11th anniversary this past Sunday with a delicious dinner at The Kennedy. Thanks to Lauren’s recommendation, might I add.

I literally cannot wait for Lauren and Will’s wedding. Their Downtown Knoxville and UT campus engagement session just got me that much more excited! To get to hang with their friend group all day will be such a treat. I love these two, and I know their wedding is going to be AMAAAAZING!
