I have known Jennifer since 2016 when I shot her best friend’s wedding. She was the maid of honor, and we stayed connected after when I photographed a birthday party for her mom. We’ve never officially had this conversation, but I feel like we just hit it off so well. I started following her on socials back in 2016 and have kept up with her life. I got the call about her engagement a few months ago, and the joy I felt for her like hearing a sister had gotten engaged. I hadn’t actually spoken to her in years, but for some reason, I just knew it was such a deep desire in her soul. That desire was being fulfilled, and what a precious prayer answered. The morning of this sunrise Nashville engagement session, I officially met Kyle for the first time. My first thought was, wow, they are literally the perfect match for one another. Not that I don’t always feel that way about my couples, but it’s a little more obvious for some than others. I can’t really explain it other than to say that’s the way it is.
Since shooting their sunrise Nashville engagement session, I had a week vacation. I say that only because it speaks to how wonderfully patient they are as they waited an extra week to get their photos back! So, thank you, Jennifer and Kyle! Thank you for your grace, for being such awesome subjects, and for choosing two of my favorite Nashville locations! I hope these photos bring you as much joy as they do me!
