The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Senior Session || Julianna Bridges

A Sweet Hunter Valley Senior session

I have worked with the Bridges family a lot over the years. Starting back when Julianna was a little girl. Like elementary age. I knew instantly when I met them that I adored them. They have such a sweet connection and a certain closeness that I knew I wanted in my own family one day. A few years later, I shot their son’s senior photos. Then, I photographed an event for a nonprofit we both support and their best friend’s wedding. Finally, I’m back to photograph Julianna’s senior photos. After watching their children grow up and seeing them flourish into different stages of life, I finally just asked Jovelyn how they raised such amazing humans. Kind, joyful, trustworthy, honest, motivated, but most importantly, children for Jesus. It is overwhelming when I let my mind start wandering too far into the future. I want more badly than anything for my kids to know the love and acceptance of Christ. The peace that passes all earthly understanding. The value and importance of having a strong foundation in their faith and a deep desire to yearn after God’s word and a relationship with Him. And the Bridges did it. Two amazing children who are believers. When I asked her what the secret was at the end of Julianna’s Hunter Valley senior session, she said, “Surrounding them with a big church family,” and it resonated so deeply with me. It is one of the reasons we love Shoreline so much. Their youth and children programs. We hardly miss a Sunday. Not only for our own personal relationship with God, but for our kids’ future. So, if you are a young parent out there wondering how the heck to navigate the years coming up, this is a great place to start.

So honored to get to serve this family throughout these wonderful milestones. It is an absolute pleasure!
