St. Mark UMC Wedding

Ashley and Charlie had their wedding at St. Mark UMC in downtown Clinton. Over the last several months as Ashley and I emailed back and forth, I didn’t put together that this was the same Ashley I went to high school with. Then, I reached out to LHS Photography to second shoot for me, and she also knew her. I don’t know why I missed the boat on that one, but it was fun to catch up with some old friends. Something else Ashley and I have in common is that we both lost our dads. I hate so much that her sweet father couldn’t be physically present on her wedding day, but the way she made tributes to him throughout the day was just beautiful. At the end, I got a picture of her dad tattoo on her foot, and we bonded for a second over both having remembrance tattoos for our dads.

Ashley and Charlie are just precious, and you can truly tell how happy they make one another. Throughout the day, all of Charlie’s people kept commenting about how happy he has been since he met Ashley. How much he smiles now. And the same could be said for Ashley. So smiley and so joyful on their big day, and it was honor to be at St. Mark UMC as a part of it.
