Space Theme Nursery for this Newborn Session

For all the newborns I have photographed, I have yet to see a space theme nursery, but it was SO stinking cute. Who knew they had so much outer space decor you could use in a nursery? As I was welcomed into the Wertzes’ home and saw all of the rooms, it made total sense that Beau’s space theme nursery was ultra cute. The entire house was ultra cute. Obviously in other themes than space. There is no doubt Alina is very good at interior decorating. Or to be fair, it could also have been Zach. No gender assumptions here.

Now, onto Beau. This little cutie did SO well for his newborn session. Slept like a charm through all of his posing and moving around and continued sleeping right through all the family photos at the end. He has the most beautiful dark hair that I cannot get enough of. Even though I had to cover it up a few times with his cute little hat, which ended up being some of my favorite photos of him. I liked the ones in the crib, but I LOVED the ones on his changing table underneath the little hanging moon and star garland. Eek. Just wait until you see those!

I’m so thankful this family invited me back into their lives to document this sweet season for them. I photographed Alina’s graduation celebration last year as she went from being a resident to an official practicing, fully-licensed doctor. If it’s even possible, they were even more joyful now than they were then, and it makes my heart so happy that they trusted me with another major milestone. Thank you, friends, it was a complete honor!
