Southall Farm Wedding || Elizabeth & Ross

From the very first time I talked with Elizabeth and Ross on the phone, I knew their wedding at Southall Farm & Inn would be something truly special. Even a year out, Elizabeth had such a clear vision for their day, and it wasn’t centered around flowers, décor, or even the dress. What mattered most to her was the guest experience. She wanted every person who came to feel like they were sitting at an elegant dinner party in her own dining room. Personal, warm, and filled with love.

Despite having more than 150 guests, Elizabeth and Ross found beautiful ways to make their wedding feel intimate. During cocktail hour, they mingled and played games with friends and family before everyone moved to the tent for dinner. Inside the tent were long family-style tables for everyone to gather around. Laughter and conversation filled the room so effortlessly. Heartfelt toasts flowed as guests toasted with glasses of wine. Elizabeth and Ross joined in every moment. They weren’t tucked away but right there in the middle of it all, soaking in each hug, each laugh, and every bit of joy that filled the night.

Their Southall Farm wedding wasn’t just beautifully designed; it was deeply intentional. It was a reflection of who Elizabeth and Ross are as people. They make space for others in a way that leaves everyone feeling seen and valued. And the proof was in the dance floor that stayed packed until 11:30 p.m., long after most receptions wind down.

As I look back through their gallery, I see more than just stunning portraits and joyful candids. I see two people whose love overflows into everyone around them. Their day was different in the most beautiful way, and I feel so grateful to have captured it.

Take me back to Southall Farm & Inn anytime. This venue is nothing short of amazing. But I never want to experience it again without Kelsey Rae Designs coordinator team. These ladies were amazing. If you’re in the Nashville area and need a planner/coordinator for your wedding day, look no further. These girls knocked it out of the park and were absolutely SO helpful in every single way. From holding crying babies to fluffing the train constantly to running and grabbing groom details for me across the property. It was literally one of the best planning experiences I’ve had in Nashville!
