A Cosby Campground & Foothills Parkway Engagement Session
When couples want mountains in the background, I have a few different locations for them to choose from. I’ll send them example sessions from each spot and ask if there is one that stands out to them. Some spots require a travel fee because they are really far away (Max Patch or Roane Mountain) or because they are a logistical nightmare (Cades Cove). But others, like this one, don’t come with extra travel fees and provide STUNNING Smoky Mountain engagement photos.
Abby and Cameron met me at the picnic area at Cosby Campground. These two have such a cool story and drove all the way from Kentucky for their session! We originally planned this session to happen a few weeks before this, but it ended up being a rainy day. Leading up to this day, we had clear skies. The sun was literally shining all day. I’m not kidding you, within seconds of stepping out of our car, we had a few sprinkles land on us. They handled it really well, and thankfully, it stopped pretty quickly. What are the chances?? As we went through the rest of their session, the sun ended up coming out again, and we even had a gorgeous pink/orange sunset cast on the mountains behind them at the Foothills pull off.
I absolutely love taking Smoky Mountain engagement photos. One of the major perks of living in Knoxville is having the Smokies in our backyard. The mountains always bring me so much peace. I got to be in them for their engagement session, and I also get to be in them for their wedding at The Trillium later this year! So excited to celebrate them!
