Pumpkin Pie Smash at Melton Hill Park

Guys. I cannot handle how stinking cute this 1 year session was at Melton Hill Park. Instead of doing the traditional cake smash, Lisa and Adam decided to do a pumpkin pie smash. Little Graham did not disappoint. He dove right in, got nice and messy, and cheesed the whole time! Also, we shot this session a couple weeks ago more in the early-mid part of October, and look how fall it looks! You’ll hear so many photographers say peak fall color hit early this year, and it so did. Typically, this fall color is best at the very beginning of November. It rarely starts showing until the end of October so all my October clients got a bonus this year.

I’m so thankful I have gotten to watch this little man grow over the last year. I was pregnant at the same time as Lisa, and I remember getting out of my car at their maternity session and comparing bumps with her. She, of course, was way cuter than me. I’m not a cute pregnant person, and I’m okay with it 😂 Our babies were born just a couple months apart, but Graham is WAY bigger than Evelyn. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was the size of some small 2 year olds on the growth chart! He reminds me so much of Grayson who was built that exact same way. Their little cheeks so big when they smile. You just can’t help but kiss them over and over again.

I hope you love this session as much as I did. It has some of my favorites of the year in it!
