There’s something extra magical about spring at Marblegate Farm. Undoubtedly, Bailey and Cole’s engagement session captured every bit of that beauty! Their Marblegate spring engagement session landed right as the blooms started to pop, and it was honestly the dreamiest setting. With soft pastel tones in the trees, golden sunlight peeking through, and a light breeze across the lake, it was the kind of spring afternoon photographers dream about all year long.
Spring is hands-down my favorite season to photograph in. Yes, the weather can be unpredictable—hello random pop-up rain showers—but when the sunshine shows up, it’s so worth it. And Bailey and Cole absolutely made the most of it. They were glowing. Their outfit choices were spot on for the season—light, romantic, and totally in sync with the soft tones of the Marblegate backdrop. Not to mention, they are just one of those couples that are effortlessly photogenic!
One of my favorite parts of the session? Bailey brought her sister along. Let me tell you, that is a pro move. Especially someone close to you, like a sister or your mom, can make a world of difference. They know your preferences, your insecurities, and all the little details you might notice later. Whether it’s adjusting your hair just right, fixing the way a sleeve falls, or grabbing a behind-the-scenes video (which Bailey’s sister so sweetly shared with me—check my IG Reels), their help is priceless.
Bailey and Cole will be back at Marblegate this summer for their July 18th wedding, and after this engagement session, I already know their wedding day is going to be pure magic.
So, stay tuned for more from these two, and enjoy scrolling through all the spring goodness from their Marblegate engagement!
