If you’re reading this, you are probably somewhere in the southeast. Most likely in East Tennessee. You know the temperatures here lately have been scorching; suffocatingly hot. Right now, I’m scheduling sessions as late as possible to have the coolest part of the day and the prettiest lighting. Sometimes, we don’t even start until 8:00pm. Holly and JT, however, knew they wanted to do something in a library for their engagement session. So, we got to be in a cool, air conditioned building for most of their session, and it was awesome! Not to mention, UT’s Hodges Library has amazing natural light coming into the aisles of books, and I’m just totally obsessed. I love stepping out of the box and doing something different than my norm. It just blossoms my creativity! So, take a look at these library engagement photos, and let me know what you think! I have a feeling you’re going to like them. Be sure to watch out for the motion blur one where they are running in front of a row of books. Eek, it’s one of my favs! I’m learning the skill behind the motion blur and valuing it more with every session!
I’m so looking forward to Holly and JT’s wedding at Nichol’s Heir this fall. They are getting married at a venue I have been DYING to shoot at since it opened. It is so gorgeous and is only going to get prettier in the fall with all the vibrant colors!
