The Kincaid House Wedding with Sunny Skies

Lexi and Matt are part of a friend group whose weddings I’ve shot. It’s a big group that is amazing and makes anyone that sees their group want to be a part of it. Every time one of them has a wedding, it’s like an AMP reunion. Not only do I get to see all my couples again, but I get to see their parents, too! Over my time with this group, I’ve learned so much about Lexi and Matt. For one, Lexi is the photographer of the group. They all call her Lexi May when she has her camera out because they say she’s as obsessed with photos as I am! When another girl in the group opened a little online boutique, Lexi was the photographer taking photos of her grand reveal and her first line of clothes that went live. When another girl had her rehearsal dinner, Lexi was there with her camera. When they’ve done their bachelorette trips, Lexi photographed the whole time. I LOVE this about her, and I could tell in so many ways on her wedding day that the photos were the most important to her!

Now, let’s talk about Matt. Multiple times on the wedding day, I heard people talk about what a fashionista Matt is. And he is! I mean, look at his suit jacket. It’s a paisley pattern! This is not a coincidence. He chose the paisley pattern because they have a dog named Paisley that they are OBSESSED with. She came for a few pictures on the wedding day, but this was Matt’s way of incorporating her more into the day. Matt is also into photos, which is a good thing since Lexi loves them so much. He was up for anything, and he and Lexi even practiced certain poses they knew they wanted to do. He didn’t complain one single time about spending so much time with me on photos on their day.

This Kincaid House wedding was absolutely stunning. I really love shooting at The Kincaid House because it offers SO much in a small space so we don’t have to waste time walking all over a huge property. I love the inside, all the natural light, and the archways. Plus, I really loved working with the new owners! As you begin scrolling, I believe your jaw might drop from the beauty, but know that is totally normal because I did the exact same thing 😂 Thanks for being here, friends, and congrats to Lexi & Matt!!!
