When I photograph adorable home newborn sessions, I always tell the families they can have any props they want me to use ready and waiting. I’ll sift through them right when I arrive to figure out which ones will make the best photos. Sometimes, I arrive to 2 things, and sometimes, I arrive to 10 things. In the case of Delaney and Devin’s newest bundle, there were probably 20 things, and I honestly had SUCH a hard time narrowing down because they were ALL so cute. Delaney has phenomenal taste and did SUCH a good job designing the nursery. Top that with a little boy that slept like an angel, and it made for one awesome newborn session. I had so much fun posing him with all his little blankets and stuffies and hats!
I love getting to see my AMP couples grow their family. It brings me so much joy to get to continue being a part of such special and monumental life moments. Every time I am around these two, we could literally talk for hours. I have to force myself to shut up and start shooting because the conversation just flows so naturally. Maybe I should just start budgeting in an extra hour beforehand for us to chat because I just absolutely love catching up with them.
There is no doubt I will be seeing this sweet family again, and I can’t wait!
