I have photographed the Thomas family a few times now. They are always so easy and smiley. They interact so genuinely and have such amazing patience with their kiddos. Originally, we scheduled a sunrise session. Then, Cody emailed me asking what we should do since the day of their session was going to be freezing. It may not be raining, but little kids out in the freezing cold temperatures does not lend itself to great cooperation. Instead of rescheduling, we decided to move it indoors for a White Room family session. I have done other sessions here: boudoir, newborn, and branding photos. This was my first with a whole family, and I’m not going to lie, I really enjoyed it. The kiddos couldn’t escape too far, and there were things for them to play with in between their turns in front of the camera. Plus, no one froze their buns off!
I asked the owner of The White Room if I could use her space for my Hope Resource Center Fundraising event I offer every year in the spring. I’m so thankful she said yes, and I’m even more excited for that day in late February. I plan to have fresh florals there to give it a pop of color. So, be on the lookout to all of you who have asked me about mini sessions this year. They are coming in late February at The White Room in West Knoxville!
