UT Gardens Engagement Session
It’s funny how I tend to shoot in the same spots over and over again. Then I’ll go years without going somewhere and all of a sudden I’ll be back there 5 times in one month. UT Gardens is that way for me this year. In the beginning of my career, I shot at UT Gardens a ton. Then, a couple years passed where no one wanted to go there. And then this year, I’ve done several sessions since the end of March. It is one gorgeous place and the thing that I really love about it is that pieces change every year. The University will pick one area to focus on and redo, so every season there is a new spot to admire.
When we lived downtown I used to run from our apartment to UT Gardens and back. It was one of my favorites spots to run to mostly because it was pretty flat the whole way, but also because it’s just gorgeous. When friends from out west come to visit here, they talk about how everything is so green and lively. I didn’t really get what they were talking about until I went to Arizona a few years ago and yeah… it is SUPER green here lol. And did you know that when it rains, there is a mineral released in the green that makes it even more vibrant?? Crazy right?
I love our little nest of East TN and I love this couple. They are so sweet and so genuine. They were up for anything and boy did it pay off… Hope you love these UT Gardens engagement photos as much as I do!
