A Proposal at The Sunsphere
Ahmad planned the perfect proposal to Belma at The Sunsphere in Knoxville, Tennessee. It’s where she’s from, where her family still lives, and is the most iconic Knoxville building. While they celebrated Thanksgiving in Knoxville with Belma’s family, Ahmad purchased tickets to take her, her mom, her brother, and his little boy to tour The Sunsphere. I honestly didn’t even know you could tour The Sunsphere, but you can! You can buy tickets online from home or on your phone at the foot of The Sunsphere. They are only $5, and you get a little tour around the bottom level. When it was finally time to leave for The Sunsphere, Belma’s mom was on the fence on if she felt like coming. Ahmad couldn’t tell her why he really needed her to come, of course, but eventually got her on board for her to witness his proposal to her daughter. It was the most precious thing ever. Ahmad’s sister came down from D.C. and surprised Belma with an adorable setup for Ahmad to propose in front of. Everyone was in happy tears and absolutely overjoyed!
