A Tennova Fresh 48 Baby Session

You’ll never believe when I tell you that Brittney has had two girls in the last 2.5 years, and both were delivered in the same Tennova hospital room. What are the chances?? I’m always impressed with the size of the rooms when I shoot Tennova fresh 48 sessions. The rooms are so big and spacious. However, I had this conversation with Brittney while I was there and had the exact same experience when I labored with Evelyn. They always ask if you would like a mirror to watch the birth of your child. Brittney and I are on the same page when we say absolutely not. Then, they position the bed right under a fluorescent light, which acts like a mirror to everything going on on the bed. So, it’s just where your eyes automatically go when you’re laid back having a baby, and it’s like c’mooooon, people! Why is the bed right HERE?!?! Why is that light right THERE?!? That is my only complaint about the new Tennova labor and delivery wing.

I came straight to this Tennova fresh 48 session from a Vietnamese tea ceremony. Brittney and Dusty were so easy to work with and so flexible because I didn’t know exactly what time I would be done in the morning to get to the hospital. I ended up having an hour to shoot the 30 minute Tennova fresh 48 session, and I’m glad I did because Brittney and Dusty are so easy to chat with. I used every bit of that 1 hour and ended up having to cut myself off from talking and leave to go pick up my kids from school. So thankful for them, their friendship, and their support of my little business!
