Smoky Mountains || Knoxville Wedding Photographer || Erin + Michael

Erin is truly one of my closest photographer friends. We met up so long ago, when Dustin and I still lived in Nashville to swap sessions. I didn’t know who she was, but posted in a FB group and asked if anyone in Nashville would be interested in swapping sessions and Erin, along with about 50 other photographers, responded. I literally looked through the websites of each person and hers definitely stood out the most. When we met up, I was surprised to see that she was actually a Sophomore at Lipscomb. From that point we started talking more regularly and I actually ended up hiring her as a second photographer multiple times. She even came to Knoxville to shoot with me a couple times. Fast forward a year or so and I asked her to help me with my promo video. She absolutely killed it and I learned SO much about video making. Then fast forward another year or so and Dustin and I are pregnant. Seeing how much she has grown as a photographer throughout the years has been so exciting for me, and when it came time to have some maternity pictures done, I did not hesitate to ask her if she would want to swap sessions again. But this time, the session did not have to be of her and her family, this time, she had a boyfriend to have the pictures with. This boyfriend has been around for about a year and his name is Michael. Michael is definitely complimentary to Erin. They are so stinking perfect for each other. He’s in the film business. He’s super creative. He wants to be an entrepreneur. and most of all, he loves her so much.

They both love the mountains, just like Dustin and I… and since we were going to be in Knoxville for a wedding that weekend anyway, the Smoky Mountains was the obvious choice of location. Then to top it all off, it actually snowed the weekend we were planning on doing the shoot. All the roads in the national park were actually closed to ice, so we stopped just outside of Gatlinburg to get all of these spots. It was so absolutely stunning. I could not ask for a better friend. She graduates from Lipscomb this year and I cannot WAIT to see how God uses her life to reach so many people. Her sweet soul was meant to be in the service industry.

If you don’t follow Erin, click here to find her on Facebook and Instagram… I promise, it’s worth the time. You can also find Michael on Instagram as well.

Landscape shot I booked an elopement a long time ago on June 2nd. I had a knoxville wedding on June 3rd. Well since then, my in laws are paying for us to come to FL that week before, and I was going to just come back early and shoot the elopement and wedding. Well the wedding moved to July and now has been replaced with a different wedding that is in FL. I REEEEAAALLY don’t want to come back to Knoxville on June 2nd to shoot a 3 hour elopement then have to turn right back around and fly to FL for the wedding on June 3rd. Have you experienced anything like this or had to get out of contracts before? Throwing snow I booked an elopement a long time ago on June 2nd. I had a knoxville wedding on June 3rd.
