I had back to back engagement sessions last week that I’m totally obsessed with. I shared one yesterday, and I’m sharing Leighton and Cole’s Sequoyah Hills spring engagement session today. My oh my was this a gorgeous session. I don’t shoot Sequoyah Hills spring engagement sessions super often. But every time I do, I find new reasons to fall in love with this location. I find new spots I love, and the photos just get better and better. The surprising yet amazing spot at Leighton and Cole’s session was on the mud where the water was down. We wouldn’t have even thought about going down there except we were shooting right beside it and noticed someone walking on that part of the river. It looked like it would be just slimy mush. Like your foot would just sink straight down 6 inches into slop. While it was a little soft, it was definitely hard enough to walk on. Scroll to the very end of this blog to see those shots right on the water. With the rock jutting up behind them, and the sunlight casting that gorgeous sunset hue. It was gorgeous. So gorgeous, in fact, that I’ve changed the location of my own family photos to be at Sequoyah Hills instead of the other location we had previously chosen.
So excited to be sharing these Sequoyah Hills spring engagement photos with you guys. Leighton and Cole are absolutely so stunning!
