The story with Maiti and Blake continues from their engagement session to their wedding to their maternity photos, and now, to the birth of their first baby boy, Myles. When Maiti asked if I could photograph their newest addition, I couldn’t wait to say yes! As you know, I absolutely adore my AMP couples, and after the wedding day, I’m SO sad to part ways. But when I get to come back for family photos, anniversary photos, baby photos, etc. It brings me so so so much joy. These two aren’t only getting a massive thank you for inviting me into their home to photograph their newborn photos, however. They also recommended me to TWO other brides. In just a few short months, I’ll see them at one of Maiti’s bridesmaid’s wedding. Then later this year, I’ll see them in Cape Cod for Maiti’s sister’s wedding. I LOVE when a friend/family group hires me for all their weddings over the years because at each one, it’s like a mini AMP reunion where I get photos with all my past couples back together in one spot. This is going to sound so cheesy, but those photos make me think of the legacy I’m creating for these couples. It’s their wedding photos that are going to provide the memories they will share with their kids and grandkids. The photos that will be passed down through generations. It’s those photos that will make it out of storage when their children are getting married. Same with the newborn photos. We still have newborn photos hanging in our house although our children are 7, 5, and 3 years old now. We got our own newborn photos out of storage when our kids were born to compare features. These photos share our legacy with everyone that comes after us, and it is such an honor to capture that for the Braswells. Thank you, Maiti and Blake, for inviting me into your home, trusting me with baby Myles, and sharing me with your friends and family. I just adore you and cannot say thank you enough!
