A Sunny Winter Downtown Knoxville Engagement Session
I have a funny story about Maiti and Blake. They are getting married at The Quarry Venue, which is a favorite venue of mine. When The Quarry reached out via email to see if I was available for Maiti and Blake’s wedding date, I didn’t actually get to talk to Maiti and Blake on the phone like I normally do. I only saw Maiti’s name in emails and on my documents in their file. Every time I saw her name, I would say it differently in my head. Sometimes, it was pronounced May-tee or My-tie. Then, combinations of May-tie or My-tee. Once, I even went with May-ee-tee. Well, turns out it’s Mat-tee. Like Mattie. It was the first question I asked her when she came from the Downtown Knoxville Market Square parking garage, and I laughed at myself for making it the most difficult I could have possibly made it.
Thankful for Maiti and Blake for keeping their session fun. They are both SUCH nice people, and I could tell they just genuinely enjoy being together. Neither of them is from here, and they met at UT as undergraduates. It was a joy learning more about their wedding day and about them. I put a lot of faith in wedding venues with full planning that they are in fact matching me with a couple that I mesh well with, and I can honestly say it has worked out every single time. Probably because they are just really great at what they do, and they know how important it is.
Hope you guys love these as much as I do! They are overflowing with joy, and the sunlight was *chef’s kiss*.
