Mae and Casey’s Nashville engagement session has been a long time coming, you guys. They were originally supposed to get married in May of 2020. I had a wedding in Nashville a couple months before theirs, and we planned to do their engagement photos afterwards. Then, COVID and the Nashville tornadoes hit, and we postponed their engagement session to a day right before their wedding. Then, they ended up postponing their wedding a whole year to 2021, and we rescheduled their engagement session again to another day I was coming to Nashville in the summer. As we approached, the weather looked bad and the craziness of COVID was still in full swing so we postponed again. This time to the day before my winter wedding in Nashville. FINALLY, it worked out. When I met them in person, it was honestly like meeting really great friends because we had already communicated so much. We did their engagement session in a field right off of a main highway in Nashville. It was beautiful winter weather, and these two are just easy to photograph. They are used to the camera because Mae’s sister is also a wedding photographer. And a coordinator. And has a day job. Girl is skilled.
Also, I know she hears it all the time, but Mae’s hair. If she ever wanted to change careers, she could absolutely be a poster girl for ANY of the hair products out there in the world. Hello, hair influencer. It is all natural. No extensions at all. I was blown away. So, here we are. A gorgeous Nashville engagement session with an amazing couple and hair that could easily be a real life Rapunzel.
