Melton Hill Park Family Session
I genuinely love these people. We became friends with the Perryman family through our small group. That is the foundation of our relationship, but since then, we have branched off into me being their photographer, too. Let me say I am so here for it. Especially during this magical Melton Hill Park session! This family is just amazing. I mean, they have pretty awesome smiles and are total naturals in front of my camera, but really what I love about them is the deep stuff like their character.
We witnessed their two boys get baptized at church recently. It made me emotional watching them, and it was such an honor to see their walk with Christ blossom in such a tangible way. As Dustin and I celebrated with them, I couldn’t help but admire the way Darrin and Sheila have parented their boys. I have fear and anxiety that creeps in every once in awhile about parenting teenage children. I have a very specific goal in mind of what I want that relationship to look like, but I have NO idea how to make it happen. Then, I look at the Perrymans, and that is it, you guys. They have somehow balanced the teetering scale between being role models, disciplinarians, and leaders with also being liked by their boys, able to joke around, and have pure, honest conversations. Even beyond their parenting, I love the way they serve in our church, the way they serve their real estate clients, and the way they support other local small businesses like my photography business.
They have hearts of gold, and I am so thankful to have such an amazing family in our circle.
