Meads Quarry 1 Year Old Session

This little girl had her very own Meads Quarry 1 year old session last week, and she basically killed it. She was walking around pretty good, smiling like crazy, clapping nonstop, and wanting to put every single rock in her mouth. About half way through the session, I had them sit her down on her bottom on the gravel so I could get a few shots of just her by herself. She got so distracted with the rocks (how did I not see this coming though, you think I would have learned by now) that I moved spots and had them sit her in the grass. There was only one problem… she was too smart for us because she could see the rocks and started crawling back to them immediately. I’ve learned over the years, that you don’t try to pose a moving baby. You put them down, let them go, and follow them around with your camera to your eye because it’s only a matter of time before they’re going to do something totally and completely adorable. When they do, it will probably only last 3/4 of a second before they’re on to the next thing. So, you have to be ready. Well, she crawled back to the gravel, and as I was making the most ridiculous sounds to try to get her to look at me, dad said oh I know how to get her to look up! I was like YES! Do it! He just looked at her and said No! Abby Ella! She immediately looked up with these frowned eyebrows like…what?! It was so stinking adorable. Turns out we were saying “No!” a lot after that for real though because she KEPT trying to eat the rocks. ha! I love this Meads Quarry 1 year old session. I hope that you do, too!
