A Dreamy Knoxville Engagement Session Filled With Beautiful Light
Monica and Randy’s Maple Grove Estate engagement photos were full of sweet interactions, priceless expressions, and the most gorgeous evening light. They began the session feeling nervous but quickly proved that they are complete naturals in front of the camera!
Monica and Randy are literally so precious. I cannot get over how cute they are together! When we started their engagement session at Maple Grove Estate, they were both super nervous. Monica even told me right before we got started just how nervous she was, and how nervous she had been all day. So nervous, in fact, that she forgot her lipstick when they left the house. When she made Randy stop by a drug store on the way and pick some up for her, he not only did so without complaining, he even told her it was totally worth it when she applied and showed him the difference. He already knows what his future wife needs from him even if he can’t relate at all!
Also, in case anyone else is wondering, that is Monica’s real hair! It is absolutely beautiful. So thick, long, and perfect. I’m just a little jealous! It looked especially gorgeous in the dreamy light we had throughout the session.
Photographing Monica and Randy was extra special because Monica is the sister of another groom I photographed a few years ago. I loved their family then, so I already know I’m going to love them even more now! It is always such an honor when I get to reconnect with a family and photograph another meaningful season in their lives.
Maple Grove Estate is truly one of the prettiest places to take portraits in Knoxville. I love it so much! The entire property is stunning, and Karen and her husband make every visit even better. I always look forward to seeing them whenever I’m photographing at their beautiful venue.
The light we had during this engagement session was everything. Between the glowing scenery, Monica’s incredible hair, and the way these two looked at one another, I could not have asked for a sweeter evening.
