A little boy newborn session at The Studio at Fountain City
This little boy is named Charles Gash, but he goes by Cal. We did his newborn session in my studio right before we left to go out of town for Christmas. It was a yucky, rainy day, but nothing could prevent the joy and love overflowing from this family as I documented their little family of 4.
Caroline has worked in the NICU for a long time taking care of and snuggling little infants with a hard beginning. Her intuitive, motherly nature is undeniable. Honestly, she is made to be a mama, and she does it so effortlessly and so beautifully. Watching her and Christian grow their family over the last couple years has been such an honor. They are those people that make it look easy even though after birthing three separate humans myself and going through the stage they are in right now three separate times, I can testify to the fact that it is ANYTHING but easy. I envy those people who can just Meghan Markle it and leave the hospital wearing makeup and their pre-pregnancy clothes. Like, how? But that is Caroline. She is basically Meghan Markle 😂
I so enjoyed photographing this little family again. I have had the absolute privilege of shooting their engagement, wedding, all the first year photos of their little girl, and now, the beginning of the first year with their little boy. It is one of the most flattering acts when one of my couples invite me back to photograph their children. I can’t thank them enough for trusting me with all of their most important moments in their lives!
