You’ll remember a couple weeks ago I shared some images of Maggie & Zach under a blog titled “Just Married”. That’s because these two went and eloped then came back for me to take some pictures of them as “just married”. Now here, they are celebrating their marriage with all of their friends and family at the Jubilee Event Center. The night was so much fun and best of all, so relaxed. The thing that Maggie kept saying to me at their Just Married session was that she just wanted it to be a chill environment where everyone can just have fun. And that’s exactly what it was. Between some delicious food, the awesome photobooth, and the fabulous DJ, Jason Lovely… there was no room for anything BUT fun! Jubilee Event Center was so welcoming and did a fabulous job at making sure everyone was comfortable the entire time. Looking back, I can definitely say one of my favorite moments of the night was during the cake cutting. And I know what you’re thinking… your mind automatically went to some crazy icing-in-the-face moment shared between Maggie and Zach, but this one was a little different. They got into their spots and I told them how to hold the cake cutter, reminded them to smile, and then let them go for it. As Maggie pulled the knife out of the cake, without even thinking, she raised it up for Zach to lick the icing off of it, like it wasn’t a knife, then realized what she was doing and was like uh… yeah… probably shouldn’t do that. When I looked back at the pictures, it kind of looked like she was getting ready to chop Zach’s head off. baha. Definitely a blooper picture. Made for a good smile during the editing process though.
