A 6 Month Session in Highlight Studio
Beau Wertz is officially 6 months old and is quite possibly the cutest little man around. I mean, goodness. Look at those eyes and those round cheeks. I don’t know if you remember back to Beau’s newborn session, but he had the cutest space-themed nursery. We got to bring some of those space things into his Highlight Studio 6 month session as well with some of his floor mats and a little rocket teether. He seriously did so good at his session. He even made it through an outfit change and lots of different backdrop setups. The next time I’ll be seeing this little man will be at his 12 month session. By this point in my life as a mother and as a baby’s first year photographer, I know time flies too quickly between milestones. It’ll be just a blink of an eye, and I’ll be taking his 1 year photos. For now, I pray the time creeps by so slowly for Beau’s parents, and they savor all the adorable firsts. I pray they never forget the squishiness of his cheeks or that model face that happens when he’s learning something new. I pray they thrive, not just survive in this season. I also pray this for all my clients going through a special season. Whether it’s a season of wedding planning, pregnancy, or just a simple anniversary celebration. We all have the opportunity to savor this life so richly, and I hope that for each and every one of you.
