Lauryn and Dakota’s engagement session was at their wedding venue. I had heard of Heartland Meadows, but I had never been there. I also had no idea it’s practically in my back yard. I’m glad I got to see it before the wedding day though because this place is massive. It has at least 4 different ceremony spots, two barns, plenty of parking, and some really pretty views. But most important is it served as the most perfect back drop for Lauryn and Dakota’s Heartland Meadows engagement session.
Dakota is the brother of one of my past couples. Shortly after their wedding, he got together with Lauryn, and it didn’t take long before they decided to get married. They first reached out during the pandemic so we scheduled a phone call instead of an in-person meeting. I went through my whole spiel and kept referring to Brittney and Dusty’s wedding. When I finally shut up, Brittney spoke up and said, “Hey, Amanda!” I busted out laughing. Of course she was there listening to me the whole time I was referring to her wedding!
Lauryn and Dakota are so cute together, and might I add I’m TOTALLY obsessed with Lauryn’s hair. We’ve already decided their future children will definitely have red, gorgeous, thick hair. Before then though, they are going to host one glorious wedding in 2021, and I am already looking forward to it!
