A Fall Wedding at Castleton Farms

At 30 weeks pregnant going into the fall, I feel every 80 degree day with sweat running down my back and my feet puffing up like marshmallows. I checked the radar a couple days before Lindsey and Devin’s fall wedding at Castleton Farms, and woah, baby. The weather was finally more like fall than summer. With a high of 65, I could have dropped down right there and done a little break dance with my huge belly. I asked Lindsey how in the HECK she knew this would be the day fall would finally have arrived in Knoxville two years in advance, and she responded with, “A lot of answered prayers, Amanda. A lot of prayers on my knees.” We both laughed, but also, we both knew it was SO true.

One of my favorite things about Lindsey and Devin’s fall wedding at Castleton Farms was how perfectly on schedule we were and how much emotion swarmed around the whole day. From the hair and makeup getting done ahead of schedule to the bridesmaids and groomsmen actually being ready to go when asked to having access to the golf cart to trek around the property for their first look and portraits, we were majorly ahead of schedule by the time we wrapped up portraits. So much so that I got to take an extra 15 minutes with just the bride and groom. It was glorious. If you haven’t noticed already, Lindsey and Devin have giant smiles. They are beautiful, beaming, glorious smiles that shine so bright from wherever they are. They were both just so smitten and laughing and cuddling the whole day that it honestly made my job easy. Every time I would put them in a pose, they would just start being SO cute, and I didn’t even need the witty things I usually say to make couples laugh because they were just laughing and giggly already. It was so adorable, and I am so THANKFUL I could be there to share their day with them!

It was a beautiful day, and if you stick around to the end, you will get to see some awesome dance shots of the bride and groom with one super cool exit!
