Estate of Grace is a venue located on some farmland back in the rolling hills of Corryton. You stay on Tazewell Pike and go all the way to Gibbs until finally you turn off and drive straight back into the mountain. Once you start climbing the driveway, you realize what a view this place is going to have. Then you see the rolling hills with hay bails scattered all over… and then… then your eyes come to the cutest little house perched at the very top. And it’s adorable on the outside… like how could it get any cuter? But when you go inside, it’s literally a pottery barn magazine. And what is even better is that none of it is purchased. It’s all restored from either hand me downs, cool finds at local vintage shops or antique festivals, or what was left in the house from the father that once lived there. Every single thing about it is perfect. I promise you that if you ever go there, you will fall in love and want to do the same exact thing to your own house.
When Kayla and Micah were choosing locations for their engagement session, it was a no brainer that one of them was going to be Estate of Grace. It’s SO gorgeous, but the other location we were going back and forth between several locations. Micah is a racecar driver (how cool is that??) slash an electrician, so we wanted some way to incorporate a car. So after much debate, we finally landed on the old truck that is at UT Gardens. Granted, it’s not even close to a race car, but still drives home the point that Micah loves cars! (During the ring + scrabble pieces photo below, he even said… good thing I didn’t work on the car yesterday, the creases of my palms would be filled with oil!) Then the other thing I wanted to point out about these two, was Kayla’s dress she wore at Estate of Grace. She walked out and my jaw literally dropped. I am OBSESSED with her dress. The color, the floral, but mostly the back. She looked so absolutely stunning, and of course Micah cleaned up pretty well himself!
