Downtown Knoxville Family Session
Alina and Zach moved here a couple years ago and have since fallen in love with Knoxville. Alina is about to graduate medical school and launch into the real world of medicine. To help commemorate her crazy awesome accomplishment and their love for this city, we did a downtown Knoxville family session in Old City and around Market Square.
We tried to get staple Knoxville things like the Tennessee Theater marquee, Gay Street, the Sunsphere, and Old City Java, but my personal favorite was our ending spot of World’s Fair Site. As we walked, Alina told me how they had lived in a few cities, but Knoxville totally stole their hearts. I can’t disagree with them. I also am one who has fallen in love with Knoxville. I love it’s size and the art it embraces. I love all the small businesses and yummy restaurants. I love the atmosphere and all four of our seasons. I love our sunset times in the summer and how everyone enjoys walking everywhere. There is just something to be said for little k-town.
As we walked past the art alley, I asked if they were big Dolly Parton fans. Alina made me laugh when she responded, “We only named our cat Dolly!” So, of course, we had to stop for a couple pictures in front of Dolly. It was only the most appropriate spot of our whole session lol.
I had so much fun exploring around downtown with these two. They are so fun and kept me laughing the whole time. A massive congratulations has to go out to Alina for graduating this summer, as well. That is one heck of an accomplishment. Super impressed, and if you’re looking for a new family practitioner, Dr. Alina Wertz will be seeing people soon!
