Castleton Micro Wedding
I haven’t shot a micro wedding in forever, and last week, I shot two in one week. Tiffany and Jeff’s destination micro wedding was on Saturday, and Sydney and Luke’s Castleton micro wedding was on Tuesday. The day was seriously perfect. So chill and relaxed and what every couple deserves to have as their wedding day. Micro weddings at Castleton are amazing because we get to use parts of the property for the reception that we wouldn’t ever get to otherwise. The patio Sydney and Luke used for their reception only holds about 30-40 people. As you can imagine, that limits the events held there. When your guest count is 25 people, however, you can use it, and it’s just so sweet and intimate.
Both Sydney and Luke were straight up models on their wedding day. Sydney had her gown custom-made and shipped in from the Philippines. She looked flawless. Luke had his suit custom-made in England and actually flew over several times for fittings and such while he also visited his family. Also, while you’re looking at photos, you’re probably going to think to yourself, is Sydney actually that tiny? Why yes, yes she is. I’m not sure her rings would fit my 3 year old. I slipped them on my pinky finger, and they wouldn’t even go over my pinky knuckle. And I have skinny fingers, guys.
I loved getting to be a part of Sydney and Luke’s beautiful micro wedding. Everything was so eloquently done and so smooth and relaxing. There are a ton of photos in their blog post even though I wasn’t there as long as I am at other weddings because everything they did was so photogenic. All the in between moments when I was just shooting them sipping on a glass of champagne, holding a coffee cup, or walking away from me were so good I couldn’t get rid of them. So, here we are. Lots and lots of beautiful moments, and I’m so excited to share them with you!
