Olivia and Kobe planned a wedding day at The Carriage House that felt effortlessly personal from beginning to end. Every detail reflected who they are as a couple, which made this Carriage House wedding so fun to photograph. From the handmade elements to the emotional moments tucked quietly between the big events of the day, their wedding felt warm, intentional, and genuinely joyful.
One of the first things guests noticed when they walked into the reception space was the custom blue and white checkered dance floor. It immediately became the centerpiece of the room and tied everything together in such a playful and stylish way. It felt classic and fun all at once, and once the dancing started later in the evening, it completely transformed the reception space into the happiest little party.
Another crowd favorite was their dirty soda bar. It was such a creative addition to cocktail hour and gave guests something interactive and unexpected to enjoy throughout the night. I loved seeing people mix different flavors together and come back for seconds after dinner. It’s always fun when couples add details that feel unique to them instead of simply doing what everyone else does.
And of course, we cannot forget Riggs.
Their adorable puppy was one of the stars of the day and added so much personality to the wedding. After the ceremony, tiny little Riggs was running around in the open grass while the three ring bearers chased him playfully. Everyone watched as this adorable moment unfolded.
While there were so many beautiful details throughout the day, the moment that stands out most to me happened immediately after the ceremony. Everyone had recessed down the aisle, the wedding party had gone to cocktail hour, and family members were beginning to gather for portraits. Olivia and Kobe stayed near the ceremony site for just a moment longer.
Olivia looked back at the now-empty ceremony space and quietly said, “That is the craziest thing I’ve ever done.”
Then she looked over at Kobe, and together they both stared back at the ceremony site almost in disbelief. “This is crazy,” they said with these sweet smiles spread across their faces. And then, without even noticing anyone else around them, they shared the most romantic kiss.
It was one of those moments that felt completely untouched by the chaos of a wedding day. For a few seconds, it was like the rest of the world disappeared and they were the only two people there. Standing just a few feet away witnessing that exchange felt incredibly special. Those are the moments that make a wedding day unforgettable. Not just the big events, but the quiet realization that everything they had planned and hoped for had finally happened.
Olivia and Kobe’s Carriage House wedding was filled with beautiful details, meaningful moments, and so much love woven into every part of the day. It was such an honor to document it all.
